Life After graduation, attended MSCW (MUW), married, lived in San Francisco, then Germany for several years. Two children born in Germany (Benjamin and Lisa Makamson); worked at the Leflore County Food Stamp Office for a couple of years; moved to Gautier, MS, and worked as Administrative Assistant at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 10 years. My youngest son, Jared, was born while we were living on the coast. Moved to Lebanon, TN, for several years, then back to Jackson, MS. Worked five years for Levi Strauss. Divorced. d at KSLA-TV station for three years. Husband transferred back to Jackson; he's retired now and we're enjoying living on Hoover Lake at Cleary (outside Florence, MS). I have worked in Jackson for Brunini, Grantham, Grower & Hewes law firm for 18 years. My oldest son, Benjamin (Benjie)Makamson, is a vascular surgeon at Gulfport Memorial; my daughter, Lisa Makamson Chaffin, works as an accountant for the Benton, LA, fire department; my youngest son, Jared Makamson, works as a medical tech for the U.S. Air Force and lives in Long Beach, MS. I have five granddaughters and three grandsons whom I adore and spoil as often as I can!
