Rebecca's Story
Life
Hello all,
Wow, it's been a while. After graduating I stayed in Riverside for a couple of years.I moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia. I am currently living in Prineville, Oregon, a smalltown, I think the population is up now to 10,000. I have been married to a wonderful man for 9 years, and between the two of us we have three children, two boys Zach, 16 and Zane, 13 (mine), and Dez is 14 years. I am currently working for the county as chief deputy to the tax assessor.
The kids keep us pretty busy with 4-H (pigs), sports and school. We built a home on a couple of acres that keeps us very busy as well. Our family enjoys camping, boating and traveling whenever possible.
We bought a ski boat last year (I really missed that from...Expand for more
when I was a kid). There are two lakes within 30 minutes and a lot of rivers around. My husband and stepson like to hunt, I'm pretty sure I will never get into that. My parents, grandparents and sister have all settled up here as well and it's nice to have family around. It is definetely a different world here, but I have grown accustomed to it. I do like to visit other places, but probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Portland and Bend are nearby, which are both great cities and fun to visit.
I hope to hear from some of you because I can't believe how fast the time has gone (freaky). It will be very interesting to see where we've all ended up and how we've gotten there. Hope to talk to ya soon!
