Rebecca's Story

Life Hi! After graduation, I moved to San Diego and got my BS in Biochemistry, met my future husband Erik, and then moved to Michigan. I got my Ph.D. in Human Genetics in 1997 from the Univ. of Michigan and then moved to Denver, CO. I have been working at the University of Colora...Expand for more
do Health Science Center since then doing research on a number of diseases including lupus and a pediatric liver disease (Biliary Atresia). I love my work, not too many boring days. In May of 2001, Erik and I had a daughter, Anneka, who is a joyful (albeit energetic) first grader.
