Otto's bio inspired me to add my own. Who'd ever guess we'd end up where we have? Anyway, Spent 6 years getting my BA in Chapel Hill, hung out there til '77. Over the years worked as bartender, bookstore warehousman, resident counselor at a center for mentally retarded, teachers' aide on a Cherokee reservaton, got a teachers' cert at NC Central U (never used it). Never did anythig longer than than 8 months. Never had a steady relationship the whole time (what else is new?). Finally, needed a 'rest' so joined Peace Corps in '78, was sent to Korea, met my wife and have been married for 28 years (are we really that old?) Three kids. Son 25, Dau 21, son 19. Working civil service now also 28 years (Peace Corps counts). Live and work for wife and kids - without them I'd go back to Chapel Hill tomorrow and hang out again. Interesting thing in my life so far - witnessed the Kwangju riots and killings the day we married, May 18, 1980.
