Reginald L.'s Story

Update... June 2023... Cherish Every Moment! June 16, 2023... >>> In the process of selling my home in Wind Gap/Nazareth, PA. Moving to Brenham, TX. to be close to where my Daughters & Grandchildren reside...Circa - September. Brenham is an hour & 15 minutes northwest of Houston.; small town; purchased 4 undeveloped acres. PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN >>> Okay; let me finally put this out there... Yes, I remember most everyone from the class of '66 (especially when looking at the yearbook). It was not a comfortable time for me for a number of reasons (not necessarily in order of importance): a.) On my part - an introvert, and the smallest kid in the years there. b.) My father was a local cop. c.) I felt I never fit (nor was considered to be accepted) into the groups (or clicks) of the people I admired. [obviously, was not a social butterfly] d.) Not having a degree, although hired as an experienced telecommunications engineer, and professional international business project manager... caught up to me 30 years later. (I hit, what I called the "paper-ceiling".) I was "a favorite-son", on my way up the corporate-ladder... until a single person declared I was not worthy of the status, based upon not having a degree. (That's when I hung-up my (well deserved and widely recognized cape.) Oh well, that's life. I hope some of you can relate to my story, or at least get a laugh. (No offense to any of my classmates is intended. (If that be the case, let's talk.) Seriously...Cherish Every Moment my Friends. -reg. RETIRED. After 1,000,000 airmiles of world travel...alive, and well; living in Nazareth, PA.
