Regina's Story
After high school, I went to ASU and graduated with a Bachelor's and then a Master's in Education. Between the two, I got married to my first husband. Thirty-three years later, we got divorced. During that time, I taught elementary school in Tempe for 11 years, spent two years getting a design degree, and then was a professional interior designer for 15 years. (I know! That doesn't add up to 33 - I just hung out for a few years too!). I also lived in Michigan, Boston, Austin, Colorado Springs, and Columbus, OH during that time! boys (his wife had been killed) and went back to teaching. I was married for a few years, but my second husband died of a brain tumor. So, I am now on my own! I am presently teaching 6/7 Social Studies! I love it! My brother remarried three years ago, my nephews are now 20 and 15, and my Mom is doing great and is 86! Every summer, I take junior high students on "global adventures" with People to People! I have been to Italy, Greece, France, Ireland, Wales, England, Australia, Belgium, Netherlands, Alaska, Sweden, Japan, Slovakia, and most of the States in the U.S. Can you tell I love to travel? I am lovin' life!
