Regina's Story
Regina is from Vonore, Tennessee. Regina is married with Bob Elgin. Regina's schools include Plainfield High School. Regina later attended Purdue University (Elem Educ and Life Sciences BS). University of Findley, MA TOFEL and MA Bilingual Educations. Regina worked as a Children Christian Edcucation Director while living in CA but returned to public school in Ohio. She worked longest at Lakota Schools In West Chester Ohio until retirement. Regina and Bob have two sons and three grandchildren.
I love to travel, meet new people and visit old friends plus have visitors at our house. Bob and I have done missionary trips to Nicaragua over several years as VIM leaders once Bob retired from P&G worldwide IT support. I went alone to the D R Congo, Africa to teach Engli...Expand for more
sh and work with native women, I plan on returning when my health allows but Bob will come to help with the IT and electricity needs as he did in Nicaragua,
In 2012-13, I went to India to visit former students and be a part of two weddings. The weddings last for 3-5 days in Punjab, The trip there was 17 hour flight and a 10 hour car trek with stops for tea. I traveled over with one of the brides who considers me a Mom so we had fun.
More about Regina:"I am retired from teaching but still enjoy doing church and VIM work. Love to see and play with the grandkids ( Ben's 3 children), my former students' babies and all children I meet on my travels. I currently volunteer as a CASA in Monroe Co.TN and serve in Children and /or Women Ministries here and abroad.".
