Reginald's Story
I was in the US Navy for four years -- went around the world. After leaving the Navy, I went work for a bank (NS&T) in Washington, DC as the manager of the Data Processing Center where I worked for six years.
I was married on December 28, 1974. I have four children and four grandchildren.
My wife and I joined First Baptist Church formerly of SW, Washington, DC on May 11, 1975. I am very active in my church. In July 1977, I was ordained a Deacon. I am pleased to say that I have served in many capacities at the church: Deacon; Chairman of the Deacons' Ministry; Sunday School in the Junior Department; now Sunday School Teacher in the Adult...Expand for more
Class #1; Co-Chairman Men's Day Program; General Chairman of the Church's 150th year long Anniversary Celebration; Chairman of the Budget Committee; and Financial Secretary.
After leaving the bank, I began working for the Federal Gov't. I worked in the Federal Gov't for 37.5-years. I retired in April 2012. I just completed a four year tenure as the President of the General Baptist Deacons' Association of Washington, DC and Vicinity and Its Auxiliaries.
On Friday, June 28, 2013, I was privileged to preside over the Ambassador' s Luncheon which was held at First Baptist Church where H. E. Jeremiah Sulunteh, Embassy of the Republic of Liberia.
