Bonnie's Story
I am currently living in the small village of Tyringe in Sweden where I have been for the past 10 years. I am the mother of 4 sons and one daughter. I have 15 grandchildren and am currently single. I attended San Carlos High School and later attended Brigham Young University where I obtained my BS in Education with a minor in Social Sciences. I also have attended other Universities in WA where I obtained certifications in ESL, Special Education and Driver's Ed. I have taught in Utah, Washington state and in Union University in Hefei, China. I am currently retired and loving spending time with my family, reading, gardening, doing home renovation and volunteer work for church and for the Days for Girls organization. I am thankful to be able to visit the US once a year to visit with all my sons and their families.

ssic Ercoupe... which I loved flying while living in the Northwest with all of the beautiful mountains and the San Juan Islands. Unfortunately, it is a passion which I gave up when I moved to Sweden. I also love sailing and am fortunate to have a son in Hawaii with a 42 foot sailboat and I take the opportunity to go out with his family every year when I visit!
One of my favorite quotes is: "Not all who wander are lost.", and that's just what I am, a wanderer who generally isn't lost. But I do love to travel. I have lived in nine different states in the US and in China for a year and a half. I currently live in Sweden to be near my daughter and family. I have traveled to Japan, China, India, Nepal, England, Greece, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, and several other European countries. I love extended stays in other countries and to get to know the "real people" rather than just visiting as a tourist!
