Remy's Story
job history, I worked at Michaels at the CVI as a Staff Trainer head assistant, for a year after graduating, while going to WNCC i was studying criminal justice. I got in a bad car accident that year and was forced, financially to stop school. I picked up a second full time job at Maurices in Carson City as an assistant manager.
I was recruited shortly after by Jamba Juice to be there General Manager for their carson city location, I was 20. At the time i was their youngest and had to interview multiple times for the position. I took the store and started turning profits within two months. the manager was so impressed she asked me to move the Kietzke lane location in reno, the busiest store, as that GM was taking a new store in NW reno, when he failed at making that one work i was sent up there instead. again, and was in line for a job at the Atlantis as a wine sommelier assistant and station captain for their steakhouse, this job fell through as i wasn't willing to interview for the Coffee shop manager(graveyard) position i was blackballed by them.
I was forced to go back to serving and worked a year and a half at Olive Garden while returning to school. I was recruited from olive garden by a title and escrow company to do their marketing. unfortuneatly the market took a turn for the worse and i was a luxury position so i was let go.
but one of the offices i marketed to saw an oppurtunity with me and hired me to be their marketing director. thats what i do now.
I'm the Marketing Director for Platinum Home Mortgage, I talk to realtors about why our company can do what no other can, and i'm able to do home loans for friends and family.
