Rene's Story
Life has been good since graduation. Had a blast at SDSU for the next several years getting my BS in Civil Engineering. Hard work but had some fun doing it. Also saw Lisa Marshall on campus every once and a while.
A few years after graduating, I married my college sweetheart. We now have three kids ranging from 9 years of age to 4. Its a blessed experienced to see them grow and have fun at their different sporting events.
Work is work. Been with the same firm for about 18 years now. Have moved up from an intern to helping run our San Diego...Expand for more
office. I work for a large contractor, Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. (Perini). I have able to work on several high tech and laboratory projects over the years such as the Salk Insititute, Amgen, Scripps, Hewlett Packard. And also some fun ones like SeaWorld. Work has been enyoyable and rewarding. Still not enought tme off.
San Diego has me cheering on the Chargers and the Padres. My friends also got me into NASCAR. This year traveled to Vegas, Alabama, Dover, Phoniex to see some races cheeiring the SD favorite number 48 in the Sprint series.
