Rene''s Story
Life
Hello, to my classmates. I am over 50, now ! I have had a very full life with alot of twist and turns, but the effort and things I have endured have been worth it. My husband, Rick and I have been married for almost 12 years. It is my 3rd. marriage, the other 2 lasted less then 2 years each. Rick is a keeper, I am not letting this one go. So, I have basically been a single parent and on rasing two sons. Drew is 33 and Michael 22. Rick has a daughter Brianna 24 and a son Ricky 22.
My step-father died 3 years ago of cancer, and my mother still lives in our same house in Montclair, around the corner from Kingsley. I go every couple of months and visit her. I lived in Stockton for 14 years and moved to the county side of Madera 3 years ago. Rick and I live on 2.3 acres, so I am adjusting to the sticks and the dust. Starbucks & Macy's is 30 minutes away. gh) I promised Rick that I would move out here when my son Michael l graduated high school. Rick has been commuting and living in a trailer for a couple of years. Did I tell you, I met him in "prison". I spent a couple of years, on the streets and 18 years behind bars. That is in uniform, I was a Police Officer for Pomona, then I went into Dept. of Corrections. I spent 18 years with the state and retired a few years back as a Correctional Sergeant. So, I have done some interesting things, that didn't come easy for a women. But, I don't regret any of it, because now I have some great times that I can remember as I watch the sun go down, sitting on a lounge chair, on the patio, sipping Bailey's & cream. Of course sitting around is about all I am able to do now a days. The old bones don't move to fast anymore. I would love to hear from you, please e-mail. Rene'
