After graduating had music scholarship at Del Mar then lost scholarship because of too much partying. Kept going to college and tried electronics, then got into radio and television. While there got a job at KZTV 10 as studio camera man. Stayed there for two years then got opportunity to work nights at radio station. Did both jobs for two weeks and quit the TV gig to do radio. Started show at night and became the "Dr. of Love". Soft rock format show with mushy letters and dedications. It was cool for a while. Got moved to doing middays (10a-3p), was there for 2 years, then got let go for what else...partying. Got afternoon gig at oldies formatted station at did that for 7 years. I attempted to move to Australia to live with uncle and was denied a visa. No, I don't have a criminal record. Kept partying and was set to be a partying bachelor and travel.....then she walked into my life. Some friends and I all had dinner at Gallaghers steak house (If anyone remembers that place). One friends girlfriend invited a friend of hers to dinner with us. She walked in and it was really love at first sigh...Expand for more
