Renee's Story
Hello all, My name is Renee Smith (Formerly Benefield) I grew up in Hartford Connecticut ( in Charter Oak Terr) I have a twin sister Raynette Clark. We both left Hartford back in the early 70's after graduating High School. I got married in 1974 which moved me down to the Washington DC area. I have two Grown children aged 33 and 28. My son is the oldest. I'm a grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren, who I adore every day. I spend my weekends having them over at my home. My first husband passed away in 1995 of an aortic aneurysym. I remarried in 1998. Currently separated. Life has been good for me. I currently work for a Lobbying firm in Washington DC not far from the US Capitol. I've worked in a Law Firm in environment for the past 25 years. I attended College in Maryland back in 1976. ch is 30 miles outside of DC. Not far from where John Wilkes Booth's home is.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Denise Russ, because she was a dear friend to me back in High School.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathroom and add on a deck. My dream home would be a five bedroom home with marble stairs and a entrance from the kitchen and living room.
What I've learn from my kids is to take one day and a time and enjoy what life has to offer.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to a charity of my choosing, then spend the rest on my family , friends and myself to enjoy our life.
My current age is 54. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be was so old. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny and a lot of fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as conceded.
