Renee's Story
Life
I still live in Stanwood, WA, with my husband of almost 6 years. We both graduated from Bible Institute last summer. He is still training to be a pastor, and I'm enjoying life at home. :)
Life stays active for us, mainly in the church ministries God has put us in. Not a minute goes by that we aren't thankful to be in His service.
School
I loved school. I loved learning, making friends, and just the atmosphere of a farming community. Granted, I wasn't the brightest, prettiest, funniest, et cetera. However, I did my best, (most of the time), and believe that's how it should be.
I don't think I would ever "go back in time" to change one thing. That really wouldn't do anything beneficial. What I learned between those walls: whether it was from the teachers, counselors, friendships beginning or ending, or life in general, has helped me grow tremendously. It would be a sad thing to wish that all away.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I love just sitting on the couch to pray to the Lord, then open His Bible & read. I find that those two things, plus meditating on all the Lord has done & can do, is a very good way to relax.

nd PRAYER to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
When I ask my students in Sunday school who their hero is, they give me their varied answers. When they want to know my hero, it is my Lord Jesus Christ. I don't tell them that just because of it being Sunday school, but because it is true. He saved me from having to go to Hell, & has given me a new life. I know I didn't always live according to His will, but He is my hero.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Grandma Cox, because she was a saintly grandmother, whom I would love to converse with about Jesus Christ.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10, 000, 000 of it to God, then spend the rest on missionaries, savings and bills.
My current age is 27. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be married with children. I was so completely right.
My best friend would tell you I'm easily guilted and goofy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as weird.
I share my home with my husband, which I find interesting.
In 10 years, I hope to be still faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm going to get there by prayer, study of His Word, service for Him, & faithful church attendance.
My first job was at Gap, Inc. Direct, where I got paid $9.50/hr. to pick/pack orders for Banana Republic & Old Navy. What I remember most about it is I started wandering away from God.
