Renee's Story
Life
Travelling around the country, I started school in Yakima, WA, then went to Amarillo, TX, then Coolidge, AZ. I left Coolidge with my family before I graduated in 1972, but always thought of Coolidge as my school (although I did make friends and enjoyed my senior year in Roswell, NM. I do enjoy the looks when people find out I graduated from Roswell High in NM.) And I do treasure the friends I made everywhere I have lived. my sister Elaine and her family and our brother Ray Cormier living nearby.
School
I wish I would have been able to spend more time in one school. I didn't feel like I belonged anywhere in particular. My fondest memories are in Coolidge, with friends like Bekki and Veronica, Mark and Scotty, the fun of journalism classes and dancing at games. I will fondly remember all of my friends and our escapades during high school, but will be glad not to do it again. My favorite teachers were Mr. Watson, Mr. Elliott, and Mr. Whipple.
