Renee's Story
Renee has had a full life since graduating from Hazelwood West in 1985.She has worked in business and finance over years. As a divorced mom of 4, she spent many years concentrating on the needs and the desires of her children. When the children grew older, they encouraged Renee to pursue her dreams. So, Renee returned to school. She attended St. Louis Community College-Meramec (Associate of Arts of Teaching degree), and Webster University (Bachelor of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Art in Mathematics). y in their graduate program as she pursues a MA in mathematics. One day, Renee wants to teach at the college level and help other single moms find success in their own lives.
Outside of school, Renee enjoys spending time with her now grown children and grandchildren. Family is the most important part of Renee's life. A simple day at the park with the whole family is the perfect day in Renee's life. Looking back 30 years, this is not how Renee pictured life to be or the one she planned, but it has been fuller than she ever imagined it could have been.
