Renee's Story

After graduation, I went to Ohio University, but it was really cold so I quit after one quarter. I got married and divorced. During the 80's I worked as a wedding consultant and clothing designer, selling sweatshirts for $400 (the 80's were so cool.)
In 1985 I married Robert Storey, Fire Chief for the City of Portsmouth for the last 20 years, retiring last fall after he had a stroke. Our kids are Ian, 18, who'll be attending Harvard this fall, Rosa, 17, and Hannah, 15, both at Notre Dame Highschool. I stayed home with the kids through the 90's.

the principal at our grade school asked if I'd take over the lunch program, so I went back to work on the same schedule as the kids and became the cafeteria manager at Notre Dame Elementary. That does NOT mean that I'm a lunch lady!! I do important government paperwork!
Of interest to Burg grads--Mrs. Sylvia lived in the house right behind me until she moved to the Burg last year.
Wow, my life looks really boring on paper. Okay, it's pretty boring in real life. I'm currently spending too much time on the internet while figuring out what to do with myself now that the kids are nearly grown. E-mailing with old friends has been fun! It's nice to know how everyone turned out. It's hard to believe it's been 30 years.
