Rhonda's Story
I think back to my high school days and regret that I never actually graduated. If I had been more focused, etc.
Today I don't focus on the IF'S. They don't give me any direction except backwards.
I traveled across most of the country when I left home, and finally settled in the south. I got married, had Kids, got divorced. I got remarried, had another Child and got divorced again.
I eventually got my GED at 28, graduated tech school and was hired by a large aircraft manufacturing company. While there, I worked on my college...Expand for more
credits. I got layed off and found another job after taking some time off to redirect myself. The job I have now would previously been called a quality technician. Now it is known as a Continuous Improvment Technician. It's an interesting job and I have a fair amount of mobility in my job with no one standing over my shoulder.
My Children are all grown now and I have 3 Grand children who are the lights of my life. I could'nt stand to be called Grandma, or nanny or Me Ma etc. My Grandaughter started calling me Noni and it stuck.
