Rhonda's Story
Life
I met my husband, Steve, on a blind date. He's 9 years older and from Australia. After 14 years of marriage, we get better every day. After a failed 1st marriage, I deserve him! We live on Eagle Mtn. Lake and share a passion for boating and jet skis, Santa Fe and southwestern art & our big family. Just recently bought 70 acres in Bowie, TX (Warrego Ranch)
My Pet
a hamster named Big Erma. I never thought I'd say it... but she's like a dog to me. I love her so much; talk to her every day :) Had to put down my dog, Max last December. I won't be ready for another dog for many years.
My Kids
We have a "blended family". I had two children by a previous marriage (Josh and Zach) My husband, Steve, had two children by two previous marriages (Brett and Candice) Together we have had two children (Lexi and Landry)...Expand for more
My oldest is 21, going to UNT, living in the same dorm on the same floor that I did!! Time really flies. My kids are my greatest accomplishment thus far!
My Job
My degrees are in education. I taught school for 11 years in Keller ISD. My graduate degree is in Administration. When I remarried, I changed careers. I have always had a passion for interior design so I studied for one year under the wing of a good college friend who is a thriving interior designer. I branched out on my own and have completed my first "flip" recently. I am currently working on a remodeling job for a neighbor. I am also teaching at North Side High School in Fort Worth. My dad, Ron Frank who is class of '57 there helped me start the North Side Legacy Foundation. Life is good... I am finally doing what I love and loving what I do!
