Rhonda's Story
Life
Although I graduated with the class of 1975 (I graduated a year early), I spent my days at school with the class of 76. After graduating I moved to El Paso, TX and then went to college in Springfield, Mo, although I didn't finish. I went home and met and married my husband in 1977, Homer, an Assemblies of God minister (like my father). We began our married life as Youth Pastors, began pastoring in 1983 and presently are pastoring a church in Alabama. Labor and Delivery and absolutely loved it. But the hours did not work well with my family. I have two children, Ryan 21, and Lauren 17, who was crowned our Junior Miss in 2000. I currently work as a school nurse and have since 1995. My daughter is a singing artist, and has cut 2 demo records with the song writer that writes and co-writes for Brian McKnight, (Brandon Barnes) we are hoping for a record deal soon. Brian McKnight has heard her sing, and we had the opportunity to meet him. I hope to hear from my classmates. I have fond memories of my days in Mesquite.
