Rhonda's Story
Life
Here we are in our 50's! Our kids should be independent by now, maybe some grandkids.
I didn't finish high school at Montebello, but I would have if my Dad's job did not take us overseas.
I spent 63-66 in India, went to an all-girls Brittish school, and came back to CA for the summer. Then I spent 66-68 at International School Bangkok. I finally earned my MA at Cal State San Bernardino. I have three kids, two grandkids, and a very fine husband. I've spent the last 20 years in one place: the high desert of CA. I teach at a Jr. College in the Riverside area, and paint one new watercolor every week. I'm planting a backyard vineyard, and learning to make wine.

If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have integrity, self-respect, and humor to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gary Powell, because he inspired me to "get an opinion".
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bedroom and add on a jacuzzi. My dream home would be my house, but maybe in San Diego.
The one teacher that I'd love to see again is Mrs. Tsuruta from 5-6th grade, because she found all of our artistic abilties, even though I thought I had none.
If I won $100 million, I'd give none of it to the government, then spend the rest on family, retirement and charity.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by taking it slow.
Someone at my HS Reunion was surprised that I once married a hippy.
My first job was at a movie studio in India, where I got paid very little to be an extra. What I remember most about it is what pigs the actors were when not filming.
