Rhonda's Story
Rhonda Rogers May 08 2008 | General What's going on with me...I'm married to a wonderful guy named Mark for 24 years. We have 2 children, Lindsay and Steve, ages 22 and 20 at this writing. Lindsay has just been accepted into the Dr. of Pharmacy program at the University of Florida. She'll be leaving this Fall to begin that program. She's already completed 2 years of pre-pharmacy at BCC. She'll have 4 more years of hard work and studying at UF! She's very focused and goal oriented. Update: Lindsay is now in her final year of pharmacy school at UF. She will graduate with her PharmD degree in May of 2012. Needless to say, that will be a very proud day for us and very special. :) Our son Steve is a Sr. at EGHS and holds a job at Pizza Hut. He is still deciding what to do after High School. He stays very busy with school, work, and friends. Update: Steve is now working part time at Staples, and attends BCC with his studies focusing on computer IT. ds were born. Stayed at home with them for most of their lives...but about 4 years ago went to work in the travel industry and loved it. Unfortunately for me, the business I was working for was sold by the owners and moved to Colorado so I've been out of a job since then. I'm enjoying it though! Lots of time for all the projects I need to do! My husband is an engineer at Harris and just the most wonderful husband anyone could ask for. We enjoy listening to live music, cruising, and just enjoying a glass of wine together. Our favorite vacation is anywhere on the beach. Those of you who knew my parents...my Mom is still living in the same house I grew up in. Dad passed away of lung cancer in October of 2003. Many of you remember him as principal of Croton Elementary. Some of you knew him TOO well!! I miss him every day. But that is life. My sister Sandi, (class of 76) is living in Cheyenne, WY with her husband of 28 years. Would love to hear from any of my classmates who still remember me after all these years! Drop me a line.
