Life I'm the one on the left. AHS in the 1970s was a totally different world than what kids have to grow up in today. We never knew how good we had it. Common sense said every boy had a pocket knife on him and had enough sense to know how/when to use it. Teachers were still good, bad or indifferent, but they weren't predators, and they weren't targets. (okay, except that one time when *somebody* tipped the trailer over... junior high school terrorists!) Best of all, we were a pretty tight group of kids. My kids never had that going to school... they don't get why I WANT to go to all my school reunions. Adna being such a small school, and us spending so much time with classmates, we knew each other like family. For better or worse. :O) And I do cherish the memories...
