Rhonda's Story
Life
Too much has happened in 30 years to write it all in any kind of detail. After graduating Long Beach High, I attended and graduated from Freed-Hardeman. Shortly after that I married Robert Stohldrier and we had 3 children - Richard, Rebekah, and Ryan. Bob preached for about 10 years and then got out. I started teaching and he was in pest control, for the most part. Four years ago we separated and then divorced. My sister moved in with me shortly after that, but she recently remarried, and my youngest son has moved back home to finish college.
Richard is a type-setter for the Arkansas Democrat newspaper in Fayetteville, AR. Rebekah is an artist living in Seattle. Ryan is a junior at William Carey College, majoring in marriage and family counseling.
I taught for 11 years, but have been doing various things since then. Rig...Expand for more
ht now I'm partner in a real estate investment company, which is NOT the field to be in under the current market circumstances. But I'm doing fine.
Since I left Freed, I have lived in Murray, Ky; Oneonta, AL; Hanceville, AL; Wheaton, MO; West Monroe, LA; Natchez, MS; Strawberry, AR; Sparta, IL; Rockford, IL; Madison, MS; Ridgeland, MS; Little Rock, AR; Benton, AR; Benton, TN; Gulfport, MS, and now Long Beach, MS.
In December 2007, I married Robert Vaughan. He owns two businesses, but he has on-site managers, so we aren't involved in them. We have an apartment at one of the businesses (in Gulfport), and we have a house on a bayou in Pass Christian. Both places are small, so we are building a house in Diamondhead on one of the taxiways to the airport there, since we have two small planes. Both Bob and I have pilot's licenses.
