Ricardo's Story
Life
My Spouse:
At Southwest Baptist University (SBU) in Bolivar, MO. When I first met her I asked her out. She said she wouldn't go out with me if I was the last man on earth! My reputation preceded me, with a prior girl I dated! Later, Shellie chased me down with a little help from our friends.
My Pets:
A 7 year old Doberman named Kaitlyn (Katie), 3 black Manx cats named Missy (a runt), Bobbie Butthead (her mother), Senor Gato (Mister) her father/uncle, and Whiskas a gray long-hair domestic..with a tail.
In our 8 years of marriage Shellie and I have also had Shasta, a Kinnamerick Manx kitten; Belle, a wonderfully cute, deaf, runt of a Dalmation; Allie, a white tea cup poodle; Pixel, a very handsome orange Manx male that tore up my face and went back to the farm; and Cairo Egyptian Pharoah, an AKC registered Basenji.

Eliseo was born in December of 2000. He is named after Shellie's maternal grandfather Raymond Samuel Ryle and my maternal grandfather Rev. Eliseo Rodriguez. Both who were born and died in December. Unfortunately my mother didn't live long enough to know him, but my son will know her through me.
My Job:
Both of my jobs are bilingual positions.
Whew! UPDATE: (The above was written about 5 years ago!)
Let's see, the Doberman passed away at about 11 years of age, and Whiskas also passed about a year ago. Bobbie and Mister were sent back to the farm where Bobbie is doing well and ruling the roost oaf about a dozen cats. Mister was run over after about a year there.
So we still have Missy, and now Granite, a ferule (sp?) I rescued as a kitten about 3 years ago. He is Samuel's cat and sleeps with him every night. That all for now.
