hows, his thesis film Willy being the highlight. He also took theater directing classes from the accomplished Mesrop Kesdekian, volunteered as news director for the campus radio station KSMU, wrote commentary for the Daily Campus and worked as a TV studio assistant and TA for the Video and Cinema Department. After college Rich entered the world of advertising in Texas where for fifteen years he wrote and produced commercials and promotional video for national sponsors such as American Airlines, Subaru of America, Pace Picante, Bank of America, JCPenney, Long John Silvers, Paramount Parks and many others. During this time Rich also freelanced as a writer having written over 200 corporate video, live-event and public relations scripts. In 1998 Rich left advertising to form TMF Entertainment and produced several projects including the 1997-1999 Lone Star Film and Television Awards, during which he met his wife, Johanna, a fundraising consultant. A few years living on the Upper East Side of New York City were cut off because of the effects of 9/11 and so he and his family ventured out west to let Rich take a stab at screenwriting.
