Rich's Story
College
After initially attending Augustana College to play football for legendary coach, Bob Reade, I transferred to Northeast Missouri State University. I quickly lost my passion to learn, and faded out.
After some years away, I earned my B.S. in Political Science (YES! I know - a B.S. in BS) from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005.
Workplace
After moving back to St. Louis from Kirksville, MO, I began working at Southwestern Bell "Mobile Systems" (as it was known at that time). My natural desire to get into sales led me to AT&T Wireless in 1997, wher...Expand for more
e I worked until May 2005. At AT&T Wireless, I worked as in retail sales, as a professional skills and systems trainer, an instructional designer (the person who writes training curricula), and as a member of the Training Vendor Management Team. In 2006, I tried a brief stint back at AT&T, but things just didn't feel right back there (old SBC in their new AT&T clothes wasn't REALLY AT&T), so I dabbled in real estate investments and training contracting until July 2008, when I found a VERY satisfying role within The Nielsen Company as a Global Training Manager.
