Richard's Story

The line in that old song goes, "eighteen and life to go." Well, we're thrity years into that sentence now. And it has at times seemed like a jail sentence, but on balance it has been alright. Always room for improvement and it could always get worse. My greatest accomplishment or should I say work in progress is my son. He'll be 23 this year, a decorated war vet, father and husband. He is still serving our country as a member of the US army, currently being trained for his new duties within the field of bio and medical equipment. My greatest gift in this life has to be my grand daughter, I sware she came right from God's presence to be part of our family. She will turn 4 later this year. ioned in Germany and then in Bagdad, during her early days. Her and I have developed a very special bond. I'm her Poppa, and she means the world to me. After thrity years of being out of school I've come to realize, what makes me the happiest, is being able to use all of the fortunes and misfortunes that I've compiled over this time. And turn them into a unique perspective for any one who might want to listen. It would seem as if I've went a long way from the halls of our high school. But when I look back, I see the frame work used for a life yet to be fulfilled. And I trust that if you are reading this, some how you too, will understand the importance we all played in each others lives, both positively and elsewise.
