Richard's Story

Have the years flown by or what! I still have a young mindset......its just that my body does not want to cooperate like it used to. I've been married to Maureen for twenty-one years and we have been blessed with two children, Cailin 20 and Ricky 18. This fall, we will officially become "empty nesters" as we will have two at Illinois Wesleyan University. I have lived in Park Ridge since 1990, but I am still close to...Expand for more
the old neighborhood as I'm just over the border....I still consider myself to be an Edison Parker. I still play 16" softball a couple nights a week with a couple Taft-ites Scott Herigodt and Gary Wozny and I still keep in touch with Belinda Baier, the first friend I made at the Taft Branch on the first day of school, during first period band class in 1974. (Yes I thought I was going to be a drummer in a rock band)
