Richard's Story

College Flunked out of Navy Pier after 1 year,due to being more intersted in social than academic life. Worked for many years off and on at The Armour Research Foundation at IIT later The IIT Research Institute as an Experimental Engineer. Migrated to ca. in '66. My only son, Max, was born in San Diego in '67. Left in '...Expand for more
71 to build homes in Rodgers, Ar.. returned to IITRI in '74 for a year and left in '75 to become EVP and general manager of Paragon Recording Studios, Inc. 'til '80 and went broke 'til '84 when I returned to IITRI for a few years. Left in '92 for San Diego where I've remained since. Retired in 2001 after a mild stroke.
