I am now finally retired. I retired from the United Nations 20 years ago, but the UN kept my name in its roster of advisors and sent me in many interesting consultancies. I was in Angola as a civilian official in one of the UN PeaceKeeping Missions; I was in Geneva, Switzerland as a consultant to one of the UN Specialized Agencies, in this case, the World In...Expand for more
tellectual Properties Organization; I took a training mission to the United Arab Emirates; I did consultancies for many New York based UN bodies. For instance, I was doing some humanitarian work for Northern Iraq on 9-11. I was kept very busy after my retirement. And now I am enjoying myself in a small Eastern Oklahoma town, population 7500. And I love it.
