CLASS OF 1959 August 22, 2008 In September of 1959 I entered Chico State. The Saturday before classes convened I met Sandra, who 8 months later became my wife. That will be 50 years ago this August 27, 2010. We have to 2 daughters. Tina, our oldest married James, 23 years ago. They moved from Bend, Oregon to Biggs California in June 2008. They have 4 children. Arielle will be 20 in September and Chase will be 18 in November, Joelle (adopted from China) will be 8 in December and Izabelle (adopted from China) who turns 7 this June. James is the oldest son of Jim and Charlene who have been close friends for the last 35+ years. Kelli our youngest daughter married Rob, 27 years ago. They live in Medford, Oregon and have one son Ryan who will be 21 in September. Sandra and I have truly been blessed. We are a very close family. We all talk on the phone several times a week. We get together every few months. After graduation from Chico, in 1965, I took a position with the University of California at Davis, Education Television Department. A year later we moved to the Bay Area where I worked for Ampex as a design engineer, followed by Microwave Associates as engineering manager, then on to Signetics in a sales position. Signetics moved to us Orange County, where we lived during the 70¿s. During our time in Orange County I worked in various Sales and Marketing positions for Digital Equipment Corporation, Microdata, and General Automation. In 1970 Jesus Christ became my Savior, as well as Sandra and our daughters. We attended Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa for the 10 years we lived in Orange County. In 1976 I purchased a company called Living Water Productions, a wholesale distributor of Contemporary Christian Music (Maranatha Music) and Christian gift items. In 1980 I made 2 trips to Mainland China, at the request of the PRC, representing various computer and electronics companies. In1980 we moved to Chic...Expand for more
