The above still applies. I been fortunate In that I've been to Japan and lived there for 3 younderful years. I've been able to experience a very intresting culture and meet many wonderful people over there. I also have many fond memerious of Japan.
Yes it is true I did make it to college and after several tries did earn my degree a B.A.in Elementary Education. I only taught 3 years at the elementary level. I did spend 25 years at the middle school level and loved that age bunch. I taught math and science: from general math to Alg. and life, Earth space, and physcial science. I coached football both 11 and 8 man, girls basketball, and track and field. i had some great teams and some not so great teams, but did have some outstanding players.
I liked school so much I just kept going back for more classes. In fact I ended up wit a B.A. plus 180 quarter hours. Most of the classes were in math and science with a few education classes, and some techonolgy and computer class...Expand for more

I've been married for 33 almost 34 years. We have lived in Texas but spent most of the time on the Washington coast. Ocean Shores where we got over 70 inches of rain per year. I've even mowed my grass as it was raining. We had wind as high as 100mph at times.

Workplace
I have spent the past 30 years in the Pacific Northwest. First living on the Washington Coast and then in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
When we returned to Washington in 1980 I had already taught middle school for several years. I took a job in grays Harbor County. we lived on the coast and it did rain there 76" a year. I retired from teaching in 1996 and have been a sub teacher and a teachers aide.
I have two children. They both live in Washington State. My son is an artist and deals in stained glass and all kinds on glass work. Sometimes he will you one of his chain saws to create carved creature. My daughter is in the travel indrustry and has traveled all over the world and witenessed many different cultures.
