Richard's Story
I lived in Kimberly North off 14 Mile Rd in W Bloomfield thru high school. The kids in my neighborhood were plentiful. There had to be upward of two dozen who went to North F.
After a non descript high school career my life unfolded as follows:
1) Went to Eastern Michigan University and graduated 1973 Econ/English
2) Married first wife after graduation traveled the country settled in Ann Arbor area divorced shortly after
3) Went to grad school while working at Ypsilanti State Hospital for a few years
4) Survived the seventies(barely) moved to Iowa as a supervisor of the Central Iowa stores for Dominos Pizza
5) My only daughter born 1983 adding to the two children from my wife Suzanne's...Expand for more

6) Got real estate license 1984 rode the wave of good times low interest rate era through the new millenium
7) Almost went bust when real estate bubble imploded but managed to hang on
8) Opened Direct Realty Co with daughter in 2009 and have managed to stay afloat and actually thrive
9) Now at age 60 the tally is three kids, two adopted grand kids(4 and 12), with 10 grand kids overall
10) Finally to add to the fun at the Chesney household my 90 yr old dad recently moved in with us
11) An update, dad passed at the end of 2015, he was suffering so passing was a blessing.
12) Having a 7 and 16 year old at age 64 is not as easy as I had envisioned but we gotta lotta love here!!
