Richard's Story

Richard Chwedyk is a Nebula Award-winning science fiction writer who teaches at Columbia College Chicago, Oakton Community College and for Afterschool Enrichment Solutions. ions. He received a BA from Columbia College Chicago in 1979 and an MA from Northwestern University in 1988. He is married to the poet Pamela Miller and lives in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. He also spent 34 years in the newspaper business and a few more as a copy editor for the Leo Burnett agency, but the less said about that, the better.
