Richard's Story
Life
After Bolsa, went to UCLA, where I got a degree in Math-Computer Science. Worked in the SF Bay Area for 2 years, then went to Grad School at UCONN. Got an MA and most of a PhD in Philosophy, lived in Germany for a while, and settled back in the Silicon Valley. Got married, had two children, got divorced. l, and have done a couple of triathlons and a few open-water swims the last few years. I got re-married in June 2009 (yay!), and now have two step-daughters, 10 and 12. I work for Thomson Reuters as a Product Manager and am looking forward to retirement though I can't actually see it from here. I am an Elder at the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, work with children at church, play the guitar nearly every day, like to travel, read, run, watch movies and follow baseball. I love the water.
