Richard's Story
Life
My wife, Lisa, and I have three kids, two boys and a girl. We have a dog, a gecko, and tropical fish. In addition to owning the finest sign company in Chicago's Southland, I also facilitate drum circles and practice Temple Style Tai Chi Chuan.
I lost my brother, Bob, to suicide in 1999. My other brother serves as 1st Lt. in the U.S. Marine Corp, my sister is a special education teacher, my mother watches our kids while Lisa teaches and I run the sign company, and my father is getting ready to retire from the police force and will be working in the sign company as well after retirement!
School
I was extremely active in high school in band, government, and the newspaper, and I was always the school artist since the forth grade. I guess that's why I really feel that we are going to dominate in our sign company! What I really loved about high school is the friendships that I've developed which still carry on to this day. I still try to remain active as a contributing alumnus.
My favorite and most influential teachers were Sally Deenahan, Cindy Gradek, Paul Anderson, Donald Rackey, and Stan Kastelic.
Workplace
