Richard's Story
Guess everyone could write a novel here. Will try to stick to basics as its been a journey.
After high school I joined the Navy and was in Vietnam within 6 months (way to go) two 9 month tours at the end including the evacuation in '75. Navy Intelligence Specialist and search and rescue.
After that obtained a civil engineering degree, hated it and went to Las Vegas for 20+ years in the casino business. In between travelled extensivly around the world. Worked on cruise ships. ring and collecting sewing machines into a business. The past 7 years I've been doing what I love as an independent technician for a Swiss sewing machine company named Bernina. Factory trained in Switzerland ( those 3 years of German class came in handy). Occasionally travel to different U.S. cities to teach new Bernina techs. Also have my own business called Sew Mach Tech. Oh, I repair all brands in case you have something, and still collecting vintage antique sewing machines from around the world. I expect I have settled down (some) but may eventually be somewhere warmer some day. Brrrrrr
