Graduate North Pole High School in 1982.
Bachelor Of Science, University of Alaska Fairbanks - Electrical Engineering / Mathematics / Minor in Chemistry.
MS Engineering Management, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Pursued Doctorate in Applied Physics / Electrical Engineering, University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Coming from New Jersey, my transition into the Alaskan way of life in 1981 was a complete culture shock, The change from the metropolitan lifestyle to rural living was a serious jolt. Albeit, I and my family adapted. We ultimately spent the next 15 years in Fairbanks. In the late 80's, I moved back to the eastcoast [New York] where I worked with my oldest brother in business and also went to college. I then left for Southern California where I lived for several years playing in a band (professionally) with my older brother. By day, I worked as an Electrician; At night I went to school, performed and recorded. Our band was extremely successful, received significant notoriety and played large venues. or 3M. Upon completing my contract, I then moved to Las Vegas to be with my family, where my daughter later joined me..
Although I still traveled extensively with work as an Engineer, I was always mindful of my family duties. Today, my daughter is grown and has a child of her own. My daughter is a very fine young lady. We maintain an extremely close and strong relationship. In fact, my daughter pushes me to play music, which I continue to do as a hobby. Music has always been very important to me. But nothing is more important than being a good family man.
As an entrepreneur, my work has taken me around the globe. In 1998, I started DCSi, which is a firm that is recognized as a leader and pioneer in the Energy Efficiency / Sustainability industry. In 2011, I also launched Prometrics Worldwide, which has similar capabilities and focuses on federal contracting. To date, our companies have completed contracts inside as well as outside the United States. Our active contracts are primarily within the U.S. and territories. Our headquarters is based in Las Vegas with offices in Maryland, Arizona, Hawaii and California. In 2013, I spent significant time at our Maryland office. I plan to spend the remainder of the year in Las Vegas.
Although I greatly enjoy my work, my greatest joy comes from spending quality time with family and friends.
