Richard's Story
Life
Rick attended the University of Florida 1964-68 and Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., 1968-71. He followed friends to Missouri, where he met and later married Susan, who was finishing a degree in Education at Northwest Missouri State University.
Rick and Susan have been married for 45 years and have 3 grown children. The oldest, Emily, graduated from medical school at the University of Missouri in 2003 and is a physician director of the Red Cross blood processing laboratory.

middle one, Philip (NOT the race-car driver of the same name), is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Princeton University. He is professor of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Brian, the youngest, lives in Mexico, MO. where he is a rural mail carrier.
Rick's hobbies include photography, science-fiction and "messing with computers" (until professional help is finally needed). Susan sews, knits, and enjoys reading fiction.
