Richard's Story
Hello Everyone,
I really enjoy surfing alot more now that I'm a lot better than I was in high school. I go surfing every week at least once. My newly added intro photo is me on the left & Gerry Lopez (Mr. Pipeline)of Lightning Bolt Surf Boards, taken 10/03/09.
I started surfing again over 7 years ago now, after going to Hawaii for the 1st time. So far besides just surfing in So. California, I've surfed internationally in Costa Rica twice in '07,in Hawaii over 10 times (Oahu, Maui, Kauai), in Jamaica twice at Boston Bay ('08 & '09...Expand for more
), also in Tahiti June of '08 for my Big "50th" celebration and now for the 1st time in Mexico May '09 in the Puerto Vallarta area (Playa Sayulita)
Surfing is great for the mind, soul and for exercise too, though sometimes very challenging at times as the waves get bigger in size. Hey! I'm wondering if there any you other alumni that go surfing in the Orange County/L.A. areas?? Currently I surf with Chuck Weaver often & sometimes with Eddie Watts too (both from Class of '77) Best Wishes To All.
