ged from the Marines in 1968. During my enlistment I spent time in California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wake Island, Okinawa, Tarawa and Taiwan. My training platoon at Parris Island was Plt 186. Sir.
UPDATE: I now have 4 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 2 pug dogs.
While working at the University I have made two trips to American Samoa on fact finding missions for the Department of Labor. I am getting ready to retire. 2 more years. I will return to Florida to be with my family.
My life has had more ups than downs, more laughter than sorrow and I just hope that all you who grew up with me can say the same thing. Semper Fi.
In 2013 I retired and move back to Florida. I will enjoy my retirement, spend my time visiting vets at the VA hospital, fishing, biking and shutting off my alarm clock.
