Richard's Story

My favorite teachers from High School? Mrs. Emery in English.. She instilled a love for good literature and Shakespeare. We were all blessed by her. Mr. Battner in Science, he instilled a drive for excellence. I still do astronomy. I serve on the planning committee for the Nebraska Star Party which draws people from all over the world for a week under the dark skies of Merritt Reservoir. eel. I "throw" all sorts of pottery and give it away. I am learning to play the mandolin to go along with my guitar. Diane and I have been married for 39 years and have two children, Wendy and Luke. I have served in the Ministry for 36 years and plan on retiring in three and half years. We now live in North East Nebraska. Diane is very involved with the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, serving on the Community Board.
