Richard's Story
Life
I live in Eastchester, NY with my wife Michelle. We have three children, Amanda (DOB November 1, 1983), who attends Pace University Law School, Maggie (May 2, 1987), who is at Duke University, and Bobby (December 30, 1991), who is in high school.
Prior to starting Valhalla High School in the fall of 1968, I lived in the Bronx, attending PS86 and JHS143.
At VHS, I was involved in chorus, drama, wrestling and track teams, among other things.
After graduation, I attended Boston University and graduated in 1976 from its School of Management. I graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 1979.
During the summers, I participated in shows put on by Valhalla Summer Theatre and Mount Ple...Expand for more
asant Summer Stock, with graduates and students from VHS and Westlake. My best friends from the area during all my Valhalla years were: Tom Sullivan, Dom Colangelo, Michael Small, Steve Hoag, Ted Iacobuzio and Stu Kantor, among others. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone. I also had several cousins and two sisters who graduated from VHS, including: Marian Squire (1969), Amy Kissel (1970), Laurie Tenzer (1971), Eric Squire (1973), Wendy Tenzer, Judith Kissel and Dan Tenzer.
My law firm, Kissel Pesce Hirsch & Wilmer, represents the insurance and reinsurance industry. A significant amount of work comes from the London Insurance Market.
