Richard's Story
Life
Got out of Hell School, went to College (SJC and UHCLC), went to work for Texaco (IT Department). Got Married, bought a house, had Kirby (11) and Spencer (9), saw the world on the Texaco work-release program (Name it, I have seen it). Had a pre-midlife crisis. Left Texaco to join a consulting group. Left the consulting group to form a new company, still part owner/babysitter/terminator. Joined the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Group Ticket Sales) Bought another house. Had Mallory (5 going on 32). Figured out what caused kids. Had another pre-midlife crisis. (figured why just have one when you can have many) Bought a Harley. Ride the Harley, Ride the Harley, Ride the Harley. Did I say Ride the Harley. School
Hell School was not much fun for a tubby nerd, but what the hell, got over it.
College
Got out in 4 years with a 3.6 GPA in Computer Hardware Design and Telecommunications. What more is there to say? We did drink a lot of beer.
Workplace
Texaco (88 - 95) IT Department, Designed and Installed Voice and Data networks for Texaco's International Upstream and Downstream Operations.
Comsul LTD. (95 - 96) IT Consultant for Outside Clients.
TechKnowledge Consulting - (96 - Now) Part Owner/Manager of a technology constuling firm. Manage our Houston operations.
Spend most of my days trying to figure out how to not have clients or employees, and still make money.
