Life
63 and loving it! Retirement may never come for me, I enjoy working and the challenges of each day. Time has really flown! Moved from Sterling in 1958 to Midwest City, Oklahoma where I still live. Married Cynthia Curtis in 1963 during our senior year in college. After graduation, we spent two years in Germany where I served as an Armor Officer for the 24th Infnatry Division. Moved back to Midwest City in 1966. We have two children, Kent and Holly. Both are married, but no children yet! Holly and her husband (Bart) live in Dallas. Kent and his wife (Julie) live in San Francisco. All have great jobs and are totally independent.
Cynthia (wife), Kent (son), Holly (daughter) and I all graduated from Midwest City High and then the University of Oklahoma. No split loyalties in the Ledbetter household. Thanks to my classmates of 1959 we did attend one of our Sterling Highschool reunions. Everyone was great and most had not changed. C...Expand for more
onflicts and commitments prevented my attending subsequent reunions. This next one is scheduled at a time we are to be in San Francisco and we may not be able to attend again. If we are unable to attend, I will miss seeing people that I think of often and miss in many fond ways.
My mother, Margie is 81 and recently underwent surgery and is recovering in a skilled nursing center.
I work in the area of real estate, oil and gas investments, and business consulting. Currently, my wife is opening an Antique Mall in Oklahoma City. She and two other dealers formed a corporation and opened "The French Quarter" mall on June 1, 2004. I was an assistant buyer but have been demoted to delivery and chaeufeur. Some of my purchases remained in the store much to long. We enjoy the business and eventhough it takes a lot of time, it is enjoyable.... even the times we get home at 5:00 AM after auctions.
