Richard's Story
After high school, I went to college at Tennessee Tech. I graduated from Tech with a BS in Computer Science in 1981 and went to work for IBM in Raleigh, NC. I've been here ever since. I've spent most of my career working on the software that controls and manages large networks. I got a Masters in Computer Science from North Carolina State in 2001.

th 3 kids. My oldest son is going into his sophomore year at Indiana University. My diughter is a high school senior, and my youngest son is a sophomore.
For fun I practice karate. I have a 5th degree black belt in karate. I run a small school - just 6 students - in Raleigh. I'm also learning to play guitar, I'm pretty poor at it, but it's good fun and relaxation.
