m while 'picnicking' at the Michigan dunes. Growing up in LaPorte was a time of priviledged innocence. We didn't know what was going to happen in the late sixties. With Viet Nam looming for so many of the guys, with the utter upheaval in our social mores, it got real confusing real fast. When I visit my parents, I always take a drive by Stone Lake and look for vestiges of the sweet memories of summers at the beach.
