Richard's Story
I have a new video profile at bit.ly/richardsprofile and you can find me on Facebook RichardMathiason
After High School, attended Central College at Pella, IA. Completed my Teaching Degree and could not get a position.
Worked as a Dispatcher for a Trucking firm, while taking home study courses in Electronics. Was transferred to California. Before I left, met Kathleen Deltonto of Joliet and we were married in June of 1976.
Changed jobs to Cable TV and put the Electronics training to use. Worked for Cable 5 years and then move to a company providing Satellite Communications. After 21 years and many mergers, I worked for General Dynamics as a Lead Inside Plant Supervisor overseeing Sub-Contractor's installation work at Naval Reserve Centers and Bases around the country.
That ended in May of 2004. GD layed me off. Familiar story in these times. Actu...Expand for more
ally they did me a favor. I am now a full time Blogger. My blog can be found by using my name as the URL. I create Wordpress Blogs for businesses and individuals.
We now live in New Mexico, 40 miles south of Albuquerque, in the high desert. No humidity! In October, there is the Balloon Fiesta, which hosts over 800 hot air balloons. This is a week long event, so if you ever get the chance, come and see it.
Kathy and I have no children. We have had cats, but none at this time. We now have two dogs, a golden lab and a black and tan hound mix. They are great animals and keep us busy.
We like to see movies, theatre and golf(not nearly enough). We now have another AAA baseball team, the Albuquerque Isotopes and we will see some games.
This is the short version. Drop me an email for the long version ;-D
Yours For Success!
